Zenfone 3 Nougat Update Available Now in PH Users

The Zenfone 3 Nougat 7.0 update is currently available in the Philippines and in some other regions.

Asus has started pushing out Android Nougat update to its Zenfone 3 smartphones.

As of now, the update has been rolled out to two versions of the Zenfone 3, namely ZE520KL and ZE552KL. The update is loaded with new features and refinements including double-tap in the recent apps button to quickly switch between your two most recently used apps, multi-window support, view two Chrome tabs, drag and drop text, images when in multi-window mode, bundled notifications, you can also reply to messages from apps like Facebook Messenger, Hangouts, or Messenger directly from the notification.

Zenfone 3 Nougat Android  Update

The Asus Zenfone 3 smartphone comes in two variants as mentioned above bearing the model numbers ZE520KL and ZE552KL. The ZE520KL features a 5.2-inch display, comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It is powered by a 2,650mAh battery. While the ZE552KL features a 5.5-inch display with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The rest of the specifications remain the same for both the variants. The display comes in full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display along with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood of the smartphone runs, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core chipset clocked at 2GHz and paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

Asus had launched the Zenfone 3 series last year. And though the company has started rolling out Zenfone 3 Nougat updates, there is no official word on when the Android 7.0 Nougat would be hitting the other Zenfone 3 smartphones like the Zenfone Max, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3 Ultra and the recently launched Zenfone 3 Zoom.
