Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone, the Redmi 3 Pro, a slightly improved Redmi 3 – adding up fingerprint scanner at the back.
Like the Redmi 3, the new Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro also boasts an all-metal body with curved edges. It features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. The new device features 3GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage, which is more than the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage found on the Redmi 3.
The Redmi 3 Pro also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 4,100mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on MIUI 7. There is also a hybrid-SIM card setup, wherein either both slots can be used for SIM cards, or one slot can be used for a microSD card.
